Hours: during Covid – 10-4 Monday to Sunday,

term 4-10 Monday to Friday and 10-8 Saturday & Sunday. school hols 10-8 Monday to Sunday

We build tailored person-centred Care Packages to enable our service users to lead a better quality of life. We would like to hear from experienced support workers and care assistants who are committed, reliable and have a keen interest in Complex Care.

What is the role?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Complex Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team and provide support throughout the day to our Client at their family home in Chester.

Our client is a lively 15-year-old with Cerebral Palsy as a result from a brain injury at birth. He requires a support worker to assist him with personal care, accessing the community, hydrotherapy sessions, attending and participating with various activities. he has an electric wheelchair, a mobility vehicle, uses body language and Toby device for communication, patience is required as he can present with challenging behaviours through frustration when there are difficulties with communicating. Assistance is also required with some cognitive processes, including problem solving, judgements for his own safety and retaining new skills due to short term memory issues.

The package requires a dedicated, flexible, consistent and reliable support worker who will get to know the service user and anticipate their needs.

Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Full clinical updates will be provided, and competencies could include:

– ABI

– PBLS

Our Pay rates vary in each package but range from:

Days: £10.08-£ 11.76          

(inclusive of holiday pay, Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays)
