Welcome to Jane Lewis Complex Care at Home. We are a highly renowned Care Provider for vulnerable Children & Adults with Complex Healthcare needs in their own home. We build tailored person-centred Care Packages to enable our service users to lead a better quality of life. We would like to hear from experienced support workers and care assistants who are committed, reliable and have a keen interest in Complex Care.

What is the role?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Complex Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team and provide support throughout the day to our Client at their family home in Caldy.

Our service user is a 14-year-old young gentleman with Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy. He is nonverbal but uses body language to communicate and also suffers with dystonia and cortical impairment. He is a sociable young man who likes music and swimming. Duties will involve full personal care, manual handling with specific equipment, medication, and fluids through a PEG. Nutritional needs are met by a blended soft diet and thickened fluids.

The package requires a dedicated, flexible, consistent and reliable support worker who will get to know the service user and anticipate their needs.

Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Full clinical updates will be provided, and competencies could include:

–  PEG

– Dysphagia

– Epilepsy & rescue medication

Our Pay rates vary in each package but range from:

 Pay: £11.20 – £12.88       

(inclusive of holiday pay, Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays)
