Bank Chef
Pay Rate: £16.25 to £19.05 per hour + Holiday Pay Inclusive

Our Client in Stafford are looking for a chef that is responsible and expected for overseeing kitchen operations and preparing high quality dishes while managing kitchen staff and ensuring food safety regulations and standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and menus
· Monitor food preparation processes to maintain quality, freshness, and compliance with health and safety regulations
· Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and compliant with sanitation standards including regular cleaning of equipment and work surfaces
· Oversee inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering supplies and controlling food costs.
· Check environment of kitchen for compliance according to PPM books and Food Safety Regulations
· Ensure correct usage storage and care of food products, stock control and equipment
Knowledge & Skills:
· Good organisational and planning skills.
· Proven experience in a kitchen and strong understanding of various cooking techniques and
cuisines
· Ability to lead and motivate a team
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Strong team player with the ability to influence and manage effectively.
· Good communication, both written and verbal.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· Familiarity with food safety regulations an best practice in food handling and preparatio
As a Bank Chef you must have:
– Work Experience as a chef or similar role
– Hands-on experience with food preparation and managing a kitchen environment
– Experience working within a team
– Experience of handling conflicting priorities and expectations to ensure successful outcomes
