We are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join the bank team at Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in York.
Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Centre provides specialist level 2A neurological rehabilitation, treatment, slow stream rehabilitation, residential and respite care, as well as neurobehavioural services for up to 27 adults.
You’ll work alongside healthcare professionals to support people with their daily care, comfort and wellbeing.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting people with personal care and everyday needs
- Assisting with mobility, meals and hydration
- Monitoring and reporting changes in a person’s condition
- Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Following care plans and keeping accurate records
What you’ll need:
- To be aged 18 or over
- At least six months of paid UK care experience within the last two years
- The right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, reliable and professional approach

This is flexible bank work, with shifts offered according to the needs of the service. Some weekend work may be required.
