Bank Children’s Support Worker
Service Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Pay: From £18.22 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

We are looking for experienced Children’s Support Workers to join the bank team at Norton Court House in Stockton-on-Tees.
Norton Court House provides residential care for children up to age 18, offering intensive levels of support and care to help the young people they care for develop social and life skills in a carefully considered environment.
You’ll support people with a range of needs to live as independently as possible and enjoy the routines, relationships and activities that matter to them.

What you’ll be doing:
- Providing practical care and support to children and young people
- Helping them take part in everyday activities, play and outings
- Encouraging independence, choice and social interaction in ways suited to their age and needs
- Providing or prompting personal care when required
- Following individual support plans and keeping accurate records
What you’ll need:
- To be aged 18 or over
- At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years
- Have 6 months prior experience in a childrens complex care setting
- The right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A caring, reliable and professional approach
