We’re looking for a Childrens Support Worker to support our young client in Bexhill-on-Sea. Our client has needs such as autism and challenging behaviour. This role offers a unique opportunity to help our young client thrive both at home and in the community. All of the shifts are double up shifts (two support workers on shift together).
As a Childrens Support Worker we can offer you:
- Term time: Tuesdays and Thursdays (3.30pm-6.30pm) and Saturdays (10am-2pm) – 10 hours a week.
- Non term time: Monday-Friday (10am-2pm) – 20 hours a week
- £16 per hour, weekly pay (depending on expereince)

As a Childrens Support Worker, you must:
- You must be 18 or over to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship.
- The ideal candidate will have experience to include; autism experience, knowledge of Makaton, PECs, previous experience in a SEND school.
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
- Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
- Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector
The duties of a Childrens Support Worker include assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among service users.
