Childrens Support Worker

This role is to support our brand new young client, a 10 year old boy, out in the community. You will be working alongside another support worker at all times as all the shifts are 2:1.
Our client has autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, epilepsy and displays challenging behaviour.
As a Childrens Support Worker, we can offer you:
- Part time hours
- 1 x weekday shift (5 hours) and 1 x weekend shift (6 hours)
- In school holiday time this will increase to 2 x weekday shifts (2 x 5 hours) and 1 x weekend shift (6 hours)
- 11 hours term time, 16 hours non term time
- Pay rates from £13.50 per hour

As a Childrens Support Worker, you must:
- Be over the age of 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship.
- Previous expereince with challenging behaviours and autism
- A Full UK Driving Licence to drive the family vehicle
- Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
- Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
- Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector
The duties of a Childrens Support Worker include assisting with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication management, promoting independence and a sense of well-being among service users.
