Registered Children’s Nurse – Care in the Home

We are offering an exciting opportunity to provide one-to-one, person-centred care to children and young people within their own homes. You would be supporting children with a range of needs including complex medical conditions, physical disabilities, and ongoing health requirements.
As a Registered Children’s Nurse we can offer you:

As a Registered Children’s Nurse, you must:
• Be over the age of 18 to apply
• Have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorship)
• Hold a valid NMC registration as a Registered Children’s Nurse (RNC / RSCN)
• Have excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of paediatric and family-centred care
• Be able to build a strong rapport with children, young people and their families
• Have a genuine passion for providing high-quality care in a home environment
• Experience working with children with complex health needs, including PEG feeding, medication administration, respiratory support, mobility assistance, personal care, and supporting a non-verbal child
The duties of a Registered Children’s Nurse include delivering tailored care within the home such as medication administration, PEG feeds and care, respiratory support (deep suctioning, CPAP, O2 therapy, nebulisers), personal care, mobility assistance, clinical observations, and supporting communication. You will promote comfort, independence and well-being while ensuring a safe, nurturing home environment.
