Looking for more variety in your support work, or shifts that fit around your other commitments? Jane Lewis is looking for experienced Support Workers to join our agency team in Norwich.
You’ll work across local services supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and sensory impairments. It’s an opportunity to use your skills in different settings, meet new people and help make everyday life better for those you support.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll support people to live as independently as possible and enjoy the routines, relationships and activities that matter to them. Depending on the service, this could include:
- Providing practical care and support
- Helping with everyday tasks, activities and getting out into the community
- Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement
- Providing or prompting personal care when required
- Following support plans and keeping accurate records
- Some services will require complex care, additional training will be provided to support you with this.

What you’ll need:
- To be aged 18 or over
- At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years
- The right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A caring, reliable and professional approach, with the confidence to adapt to different settings
