Bank Mental Health Support Worker
Service Location: Birmingham
Pay: From £14.24 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

We are looking for experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join the bank team at King’s Norton Hospital in Birmingham.
King’s Norton Hospital in Birmingham supports adults of all genders with severe and complex mental health conditions.
You’ll support people with a range of mental health needs, helping them feel safe, maintain their independence and take part in the routines and activities that matter to them.

What you’ll be doing:
- Providing practical and emotional support
- Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement
- Supporting everyday routines and activities
- Responding appropriately to changes in a person’s presentation or level of risk
- Following support plans and keeping accurate records
What you’ll need:
- To be aged 18 or over
- At least six months of paid UK experience supporting people with mental health needs, within the last two years
- Previous experience working with Mental Health conditions
- The right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A calm, reliable and professional approach
